The 1.2ghz processors on the W2 and W4 seem a little sluggish.
I was wondering if anyone with those models can check to see if High Definition movies play smoothly.

Make sure you choose the 1080p files.

Short answer would be no. The processor made a valiant effort, but there were little hiccups and the sound wasn't perfectly synced up with the image. The real problem, though, is that watching video on the matte screen just isn't very pretty.
