Being the noob that I am I came across a computer in my stock today that had some components that I was very unfamiliar with. I have some pictures of them if anyone can give me an idea of what they are. They were from a CF 28P

I think the other board behind the antenna cable access panel is an antenna matching board of some sort to suit the cellular data application.
I believe it's mostly a military-style option as I wouldn't imagine there is a lot of call at consumer-level for anything like that.

The triangle pcb board is an inverter for lighted keyboard( tactile) or I say electominiscent kayboard. and the blue wire is an antena cable for rim.

Yes... The small PCB on the bottom is the inverter for the emissive keyboard. That is pretty much the only thing that it works for. If you have a lot of these... Please let me know... I have A LOT of emissive keyboards with no inverters, light sensors and the little cables to hook it all together...
The other is a rather oldish modem that (I don't think) you can even get service for. If you could... it would probably be at the old .99 cents per minute rate!) The PCB that it is mounted to is (what we call) the "RIM Board" or "daughterboard"... If you search threads around here you will see that it actually has many uses as it feeds into where you want to go and is physically stable platform for doing just about anything you might want to do. There's plenty of space in there for all sorts of mounts/GPS engines/Etc... -

No... The PCB is for the CF-28 only. If you want to modify a CF-29... That is a WHOLE different conversation...
