I recently upgraded to Windows 7 on a CF-30CAQAZBM and the F-Functions are no longer working. (IE: Screen dim, Sound adjustement, Etc). I believe I need to install a driver for these, but I am not sure which ones are needed. The computer originally came with Windows XP. Can any of you help me?
Thanks

Did you upgrade the BIOS to the Vista BIOS ? They can be found here http://business.panasonic.com/support-computerstablets-driverdownloads
You can also find the BIOS update here and all the drivers http://www.toughbooktalk.com/public_downloads/CF-30 Stuff/CF-30 Windows 7 Drivers - Darrin Gartrell/Last edited: Mar 27, 2017 -
Check whether all drivers are installed (device manager), install those absent (maybe it's hotkey driver) and hotkey appendix app.

I see there is XP downgrade bios option, so you have to check you have Vista compatible bios, but I don't remember exactly - too old machine for me.

Missing drivers will throw a yellow mark in device manager. Almost always 0019 and 0021.
Windows 7 MUST have a tablet setting. (For the touch screen to work)
In the mark 1 (CF-30C) tablet does not show in bios hence the bios upgrade/ downgrade mentioned above. The clue is the bios and ec numbers from Bios Information Page.
If the machine was running XP it almost certainly needs the Vista upgrade. Don't let this worry you..... VISTA=W7=tablet. XP is a touchscreen.
There is a good chance that touch will not work at all on Mark 1 due to a mechanical problem with the touch panel. Deal with that later.
Good luck.
Upgrade to Windows 7 on CF-30C and the F-Functions are not working.
