Just passing along a business that 'recycles' equipment for companies. I have dealt with them before and they are pretty straight up.
The site page *HERE* is where they have several CF-30s for $222.50 and a single CF-29 for $122.
Like I said, just putting the word out if anyone is interested...

Blair..I've changed my mind. Its in Class "C" condition not worth for reselling. But this is good for those who need an everyday toughbook. The price for the whole thing is not even enough for the Mbo. You guys may grab it. It will not last long.

    Edit: Last two!

Did you read their "C Class" description?

"Comparable to most other companies A class. Complete units, fully functional with normal wear and tear condition."

For me that company says when I go to check out
    Invalid Country

Now I am told that I live in an Invalid Country

I just got a phone call from them saying that they were listed wrong and at a price that was too low and they are canceling all the orders..

I am waiting for a call from the supervisor. I think that since they had them for that price the ought to stand by it and sell at the listed price.

    Bob

Who ever else ordered one, when you get the call to cancel, make sure you complain a lot.

"I see they no longer even LIST any Panasonic laptops in their search engine. :("
That's cause they're all gone! The ones they have on their fleaBay store have low hours, GPS, wireless ready, and probably touch as they list "no stylus". We'll see, you can't go too wrong with a CF-30 complete for $250 shipped, including a hard drive, caddy, and a multi drive. I can't believe they lasted until 5 AM Eastern after they were posted here.

I wonder what the intended price should have been? My first impression when it was posted was that they dropped a 1 from the price so should have been $1222.00 as that would be more realistic. Heck it would cost more to steal one at $222.00

They were supposed to sell them for $700, CF-30CTQAZBM. I don't think you can force them to sell it to you for $225, offered me 20% off the $700, so $560, will take another $20 off if you are nice to him. Not such a good deal, but still a deal. Rob's getting $1200+.

When you talk to them Bob
Let them know that one of our most experianced members here ,Teo
    Passed on them @ $222.50

Anyways I have seen many threads here where there has been a price mistake and members have taken advantage of the deal
I have yet to see where the member gets anything other than a refund and an apology

Well $560.00 is still a good price if it was in any kind of shape but it's still $338.00 :( more than the first listed price  Just about what it cost for my 30.

When something seems too good to be true it is.

If my address "issues" hadn't stopped me I would have bought at least three of the four last night.

Then I would be the one getting the phone calls. I won't say anything about them But....if I as a business owner listed something at the wrong price then I would stand behind it.

Meanwhile I'm happy I'm not the one getting the calls.

    Bad luck guys, my sympathies.

When I called they said they knew nothing of cf-30s for that price. So whats the deal? They just changed their mind after telling a customer a price?

    ...thats great customer service.

...or great marketing gimmick, judging from all the attention the site's getting.

I would have hopped on the bandwagon if not being lumped as another invalid country, oceans apart. Like Alex, no harm trying... :D

When you called, Dave, a good guy, couldn't figure out which computers were selling that cheap. That's when he checked the price and found the error. Maybe if no one had called no one would have noticed. Anyway, I'm convinced it was an honest mistake, they offered a significant discount, were very apologetic, and we'll see if they rush them through shipping as promised.

The CF-30 arrived today, I shamed them into FedEx overnight. It is spotless, missing only the AC and USB covers, really like new. Even the touch screen is unmarked. So, I'm happy even at $540.

Its a basic MK1 with a touch screen. CF-30CTQAZBM It did come with a multidrive, battery, 80GB hard drive 1GB ram, COA, 3800 hours on the clock. Its as least as clean as my "old" 30 which was pretty much like new when I bought it 2+ years ago BD (before dredging". I should probably sell it as I have all the original packing from the other one.

They did have GPS but internal GPS isn't worth $380 to me. It's not worth $80 to me for that matter. I was thrilled to find that the HD from the old CF-30 went right in, booted up and even had the touch screen drivers installed and functional even though the old machine does not have a touch screen. The restore disks must install the TS drivers even on non-touch machines. I will have my MK-4 CF-29 up for sale shortly as the old CF-30 is about to become the beater. Unless of course there is someone here who wants a CF-30 in very good shape except for a little epoxy on the touch pad.
