Hi,
I have an RF Solutions GPS-622R module that's been hanging around doing nothing for a while, that I think might be the cheapest way of adding GPS to my CF18. As it's a complete module including patch antenna and chipset, the whole thing needs to be outside the metal chassis of the Toughbook, and I'd rather not disassemble it. Does anyone know if it will fit in the space under the standard CF18/19 OEM GPS antenna cover? Looks like it might do from photos I've seen, perhaps with a bit of modification to the cover.
If anyone's got the OEM kit, could they measure the internal dimensions of the cover for me?
There's always Sugru if the cap doesn't fit![]()
Thanks.

23/32" x 23/32" between the ribs, 15/16" x 15/16" between sides without the ribs and 1" x 1 1/16" in the gasket opening, 25/32" deep to outside edge. Hope that is accurate enough. Good luck with the project.

So ... 23.8x23.8mm. The module is 22x22, so if I can cut out the ribs a bit, it should work. Excellent. Thanks
