Does anyone use an in vehicle mount, if so, which one do you use and how do you like it? I am considering the Ram Mount - Tough-Dock and fittings for my van.

    http://www.ram-mount.com/toughbooks/tough_dock_mounting.htm

I have a couple local authorized dealers around, they would all have to put in a special order, none that I have found stock the Tough-Dock!

My brother has a Ram mount in his repo truck, but it is a generic mount. It has a spring pressure setup to clamp in.

It's nice, but I had to fix it when I was visiting him. The main arm tightener was screwed up.

I haven't finished mounting mine, but it'll be a custom arm setup with a Kodiak laptop base.

I've been using a Gamber Johnson mount for the past few years and love it. Easy to install, no problems with it so far, and it's rock solid.

You'd save a ton of bandwidth if you resized those pics!

    Like with everything else, I'm lazy/busy :D

I might get to those this weekend to re-size, but the pictures aren't the big killer of bandwidth.

I'd be happy to mirror the files for you Modly, I have gig-e link to the world on my servers... I can run a wget mirror script pointing at your site, then you can list it as a mirror if you like.

    Let me know, Sir.

We'll set something up in a month or two when I move, but for the time being it's dandy. I'll be moving in with a friend that also runs a server, so he'll take priority on port 80.
