Check your wireless switch. Make sure it is on for WWAN. I keep mine on the middle setting, that way I never have to worry about my BT, Wan, Wlan ever being turned off.

Which VZAM version did you install? Where did you install it from? Verizon's website has the most current version. http://vzam.net/download/supported.aspx

In VZAM go to Options~Run Wizard. What does it say? If there is a problem it will tell you.

    Let us know!

Verify the com port setting. it maybe lost. There must have two additional com port when your enable the WWAN. Then manually configure which com port the wwan assigned.

Go into the BIOS and make sure that it is set to turn on when the PC comes on (or by the switch) and off when the PC goes off.... The BIOS does a pretty good job of explaining what each setting does. This should turn out to be an easy fix.

Also... Different models require different COM port settings when you install Watcher program... You can try 7&8... or whatever it recommends. You can also install Watcher on "all" COM ports.

Like I said... This should be an easy fix.

A few easy things to try-
    Reset bios to defaults
Look in device manager and list the com ports numbers used

You might also check and see if there's a software wireless switch utility that is switched off. I'm not familiar with CF-18s, but both CF-51s and CF-52s have this software installed by Panny. On CF-51s there is no external on/off switch for the wireless and if the software switch is set to off and you don't know there is a software switch... Just a thought, good luck!

I know which pop up box he is refering to. I used to get it when I would switch to WWAN right after being on WIFI. Used to drive me nuts. I would always just reboot and it would work.

Like I stated before, run the Wizard, it will tell you exactly what the problem is.
