I noticed an auction on ebaY™ for a CF-30, and when I queried the seller about the seemingly incorrect Model Number ( CF-30CW1AXS) he replied that this is an original Japan distribution Toughbook.

You will note the the Model Number does not follow the usual CF-30xxxxxxx format.

    " VERY interesting." < German Soldier, Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In>

Mmmmhmmmm... If it's Japanese, why is it coming from China with American English layout keyboard and SirfIII GPS?

I find myself wondering if it indeed even exists...

    Maybe because it's:

    Item condition: Seller refurbished
Fortunately, PayPal takes out the worry.

Looked at some of their other listings and they do have some with Japan keyboards, feedback seems pretty good as well....

That's the way it's supose to be but try dealing with them on a higher value item. I did a few years ago and it took almost a month for me to get my $600.00 back. Come to find out this guy was selling computers and parts from his brothers computer shop that he worked for and got caught and the courts froze all his accounts. PyPal was playing a wait and see game with me. I did get my money but not from them but from the guys brother with a very good letter and check :D telling me what happen and how sorry he was and how he lost over $50,000.00 due to his brothers gambling addiction. READ THERE FINE PRINT  . Your seen it before but has anyone ever read it ?? well I have and buyer beware.

    or
I passed up a CF-31 yesterday for $1500.00 because of the fine print they have
