    Hi
I just picked up a Mk3 CF-27 on fleabay (model 27-FCCGGZZ). Seems to boot OK with Puppy Linux, but for two probs.
1 It powers up on battery, but seems to be dead on AC- does this mean the DC jack is dead? (The AC power supply is known good).
2 More problematic:the screen initially looked blank- with the brightness turned right up it can be read, but it's still really dim. Any suggestions, or is the backlight going belly up? Oddly enough, the splash screen shows a black logo and text on a "white" (OK, mid grey) background, rather than the white on black I was expecting, and some things in the Puppy desktop look to be in inverted video??
    Any thoughts?
    Cheers,
    Simon C
