I have Business already. My other laptop has Ultimate. There are a good bit of options, features on the Ultimate that would be nice to have here. My question was, If I upgrade to Ultimate I wonder how that will affect me when Windows 7 comes out. Will I only be having use of it till then? Or does nobody that one yet?

What are you trying to say? -
It's probably not worth it to install Windows Vista Ulitmate now. The (admittedly few) "Ultimate Extras," like the DreamScene animated wallpaper, the Texas Hold Em game, etc. won't work in Windows 7.
What features of Ultimate do you really like? Windows 7 Professional may have them now.
Microsoft will be downplaying Windows 7 Ultimate's existence significantly in advertising and such. In fact, they predict that the percent of users that will have 7 Ultimate will only be in the single digits, and are aiming this version at OEM's who may want to create special "Ultimate" bundles, and OEM's of high-end media center and gaming systems where the "ultimate" branding will add a bit of cachet to the product.
Also, unlike Windows Vista, you won't have to go to Ultimate to get Home Premium and Business features together-Windows 7 Professional will contain the features from both.
So, in short, it looks like the ideal path for you is to go from Vista Business to Windows 7 Professional -
AHHHH RUN!! DELLERS and ASUS guys are here!! Kidding!! I wouldn't bother with upgrading to Ultimate right now as I would wait for Windoze 7 to come out... just my two cents... and what the heck are you trying to say Toyo?!?!? LOL

I am trying to say what you just answered, LOL !
I had no idea on how they were going to do 7. I cant remember exactly all the things on Ultimate, but there is a good bit of difference once you start getting into the guts of them. -
There a neat article here... A little funny too...

That's some funny stuff!
I thought you were going to link me to Windows For Dummies.... -
I said in another Post that all Windows 7 is/will be is a pretty face on ole Vista. MS has done nothing in the way to give a clean product and as long as its riddled with DRM and protectionist schemes then we lose on a clean stable system. Why do you think we default to XP. I won't even Beta Test MS OS's anymore because it a waste of time. Buy the MS Action Pack if you want all the Bells and Whistle that MS has.
