I did it! Got the tablet buttons working in Windows 7! Having the backlight at maximum all day was really starting to bug me, not to mention searing my retinas at night. True, I could play around with the graphics properties of the GMA 950.. but aside from being a PITA, I don't know if it actually adjusts the intensity of the backlight. Looks like W 7 is what Vista ought to be and Micro$oft is just trying to chisel another buck out of the consumers. I could rant on about it (ad nauseum) but will let those far more eloquent and personable do so in my stead. Thing is, the Vista drivers WORK. I'm gonna image the OS with Paragon and then do some more experimenting. Will go for the Trifecta of W 7/ XP/ Ubuntu. Trying to get the digitalizer working in Ubuntu is gonna be a bear; I just know it. ..Willy.
