Is there a WWAN that uses simm cards? I am on T-Mobile and I really don't want to have the goofy data stick sticking out the side of my CF29.
    thanks

The WWAN modules that are affiliated with ATT/Cingular use sim cards. I don't remember T-Mobile having one (but you need to check their website.) Remember, just because you have the sim does not mean it will work with the WWAN module. You have to have a data sim card as your regular card will not work (unless it is also associated with a data plan.)

I picked up a card from this auction http://tinyurl.com/yabnvmu and popped the SIM from my Crackberry into it, and was surfing the net with it on my Dell laptop. I haven't put it into my CF-28 yet, but it looks like it would fit inside and have the door close.

It might work if you drill a hole to allow the antenna to plug in from outside
That would be a better option than having the cover open to use

I should be able to snake the cable and add an antenna in the usual spot for it if I decide to put it in the TB full-time.
