I've searched, and read a good deal of the Official CF29 thread, and as I understand it, the best way for me to add truly internal WWAN to my CF29 is to use the "Sled" that mounts internally. My question is, in addition to said sled, what else do I need to buy before installing? Also, my CF28 had an antenna on the lid that pulled out, like an old cell phone antenna, but my 29 is lacking this. What is that antenna for, and was it available on the 29?

Last question for this post, promise. Is this the correct part?

I lied about the last question bit. Looks like this one has the cover on the end, I need that, correct?

Yep, can use an antenna like the ebay item 110565413379.
But much better, if u want to use the GSM frequencies is an bluetooth-antenna for the toughbook, which u will use for ur wwan-card on the position of one of the wifi- antennas on the top and the exchanged wifi-antenna will find a new place on the (original-)position of the bluetooth-antenna on the top of the keyboard under the plastic stripe. Or u use an antenna of an mobilphone, instead of the bluetooth antenna. Should be the best reception, which u will get for little money.

Do either of the ebay links I pasted work for a MK1 CF29?

Onirakkiss, thanks for the antenna advice. I'll look into it.
