    Good price

I have paid $40 + shipping in the recent past for ddr1

The newer toughbooks that take dd2 ram I pay the same amount, but get a 2GB stick ;)

You get better deals than I do
I have a busy forum to watch over
Remember the 2GB ddr2 you just bought was only $20
And you bought a used Samsung 160GB for about 1/2 regular price
The last ddr2 stick I bought was $42 and I was happy at that deal

All it was is luck as you know, both of them were just listed and I just happen to look at the right time but my last drive was $55.00 shipped.

Thanks it's my 1st one so I wasn't expecting to get the best deal just wanted to know I didn't get robbed. I saw some that were cheaper but this was crucial and I think it was recomended in one of the FAQ threads, thanks.

Very good, it's nice to see we still have members that read the FAQ . That was a good price for the memory and it was Crucial too so you know it will work. I was very lucky to get mine for that price, I got 3 very good buys this year on fleabay....memory,samsung hdd and a CF-19 for $400.00 . Buys like these you don't see every day.

I'm making a deliberate attempt to be gentle & polite...Is this $U.S. $CAN $AUS Our Finest English Pounds (Sterling) or Euros? :(

We need to compare "Apples with Apples".

Sorry, it was us$. I am really starting to like this thing. And yes I did do the FAQ, TS problems, which lead to 1st internal investigation and the next thread I start. Again, thanks for all the help.

You got a good deal :) It's a fact of life that someone is going to get it cheaper by "being in the right place at the right time". The Crucial U.K. site list's that as being $57.00 for U.K. buyers, so you guy's on the other side of the "Pond" are getting more "Bang" for your buck! :)

To give you an example of getting "Robbed" in the U.K. check this:

Used OEM Power supply around $60.00 when you can get them
I got a new one from Canada shipped for around U.S.$28.00

I bought a shovel to help dig out the good deals, I've used it that much in recent week's the handle fell off :D :D :D (not a Panny shovel)
