I was at a store today and saw one of the employees using a laptop that appeared to be a little ToughBook.
The laptop was black and silver (98% sure), had the wide black screen clasp (like the CF-28), about 2" tall (also like the CF-28) but had the footprint of a netbook! It appeared to have an 8" or so screen.
Was it a ToughBook? If so, what model might it have been?

Was it the CF19 maybe?

The only other fully rugged tough-book that is yet smaller then the 19 is the U1:

hope this helps - Dominik Gothe -

Miiiiight have been the CF-19, but I swear the screen clasp was on the screen just like the CF-25 in the pic below. Guess I could be wrong.

did it look like this

which is a CF-M34 -

That's gotta be the one. Thanks! Now I can go looking for one...

You guys really need to watch the size of your pics... I know you mean well but it really tears up the thread...

Toughtbook,
Sorry,
take it and resize it and put it up again. -

Yeah I was gonna say it for sure sounds like an M34, what was the last processor they made those with again?
 -

1.0GHz was the last. It also had built in wireless.

Nice, looks like a cool machine, I've never owned one before, I like the idea of small, Im trying to get a tablet right now, but I for sure need a flip screen
 -

The CF-18/19 is really only slightly larger and it will give you your tablet/flip screen. The good thing is the prices on the 18 have come down where you can find one complete for about $250-300!

Looks like someone needs to get a better monitor
 haha, j/k

I was using my pocket projector that is the of a mobile phone and projects a 6 foot image on to the wall and it runs for about 2.5 hours on battery
That what I was using the first time I posted the pic above.
What ToughBook did I see?
