    Awww guys... COME ON!

This guy is just tryin' to make a honest buck here. Do you know how many THOUSANDS of dollars I spent on polished aluminum on my hot rods when I was younger?

How many MILLIONS a year are spent on cheap, chrome plated PLASTIC BITS trying to get the look this guy is providing; and it's the REAL THING!

Do you have ANY IDEA how labor intensive polished metal is? I DO!!! I've spent MONTHS of my life DOING IT... maybe years!

    All that @ss@che for a measly $55 ?!?

NAUGHTY HACKERS!!! GO TO YOUR ROOMS!!! NOW THINK ABOUT THE VALUE OF A MAN'S TIME!!!

    BTW - SNARFF!!! @ Alex

Well, it would be... except that Toughbooks need a big chunk of metal to act as a heatsink... and the fact that carbon fiber (while it really does LOOK bad@ss) doesn't hold up as well to impact MOST OF THE TIME as the Mg/Al alloy these are made of. Corners break off, the resin gets chunked pretty easily, etc.

Would definitely be an upgrade to those "Flexible Flyer" Dell and Acer plastic laptops though...

I saw those the other day but I am not so sure that I really want to buy from a seller with BAN in their name. Or have I just become too suspicious?

The bottom isn't made of magnesium alloy, so it's different stuff

While I have done a couple of painted Toughbooks, I have never done a true camo pattern (although my desert colored CF-28 turned out pretty good I think). I thought about doing an ABU, but even with the commercially available patterns (such as the one from Lauer), they are still an absolute pain in the arse to do correctly.
