    It's a subspace communications relay, they're optional equipment available on DS9 deployed Toughbooks. The reason it always appears blurry is because it doesn't exist entirely in our plane of reality; part of it must remain anchored in subspace.



    On an unrelated matter; this kind of post REALLY should be made in the general forum...
