my toughbook c2 has a sim card slot in its back but I have no idea if it is working or how to make it work (in my drivers from the day 1 nothing was missing than I additionally downloaded Gobi 3000 drivers and installed still nothing)

I can really use this feature if its the mobile internet integrated any help would be awesome thanks...

They ALL have sim card slots... Doesn't mean that there is a card in there to use the slot...

As Jeff said, we need the full model number or we can't help.

    Thanks!

This one is Wan capable...the ones that aren't dont have the board to run it. Just two wires and nothing to connect them to. Here is the description of the one that isn't capable.

You just need to go into the bios under optional kit and change and turn the correct port for your particular car once it's installed.

These are fantastic machines! I still have five left...hint hint.

    @ Almstprfct1

thanks a lot for the great info I knew it had something to do with bios but never knew that was "optional kid configuration" was the setting for

but unfortunately this menu asks me for a password I never setup any password with this machine so I tried with pass without one guesses couple of times than went to setup supervisor pass saved restarted but nothing, nothing works keeps telling me invalid pass

    any ideas why? thank you!
