PANASONIC TOUGHBOOK CF-18 TURNS ON BOIS PASSWORD PROTECTED #239 | eBay
I ran across this on ebay, not sure what accessory it is.
It looks like some kind of bolt on port replicator.

hows this

I don't have office on my CF-30 yet (still sorting it out at work, still can't get touch working, think it's hardware issue, won't work in windows or ubuntu) or I would of got a snap shot to put up. Thanks, Toughasnails.

Those ports are pass-thru to what's already on that side of the CF-18. IMHO the new stuff is the 18-36V power input, which sounds like aircraft power (28V) or some kind of military vehicle power, plus whatever is under that cover with the thumbscrews at the front of the gadget. It could be a bay for a flight data cartridge or data encryption device.

It's part of an in-flight missle mechanic tool kit. Only used once......oddly the Toughbook is all that is left.......

There is also another connection in the back of the adapter, Pen tether is in the way and can't get a clear view of it.

I have seen a couple of RFID boxes attached/highly secured to the new port replicator on the 31 at a particular building in our country.

Would that particular building happen to have five sides?

Why would I use anything that advanced on my outhouse?

A CF-28 maybe; but only for TP security... -
I didn't say a word.

Well, let's see: would you want a BIOS-locked, no hard drive-equipped, no accessories-included Mk2 for $350+, or a fully operational Mk1 for $296?
-
Actually last week I scored a fully functional Mk3 for $192 including shipping ....
What is hooked up to this CF-18
