    What is inside a CF-31WPL1H1M??? Or CF-31 in general...

    My CF-31WPL1H1M has arrived and it came with a nice surprise, a fingerprint reader! I didn't notice it in the pictures. No HDD or caddy (not expected), but a genuine Panny power adapter at least. And a DVD drive.

    It has the normal sticker residue here and there I need to go clean off. I will tackle that in a few minutes.

    I grabbed the Linux Mint drive from my CF-19. Oddly the 19 wouldn't boot to Linux and wanted to format the drive... But that's another problem, I didn't let it as I was sure it still had Mint on it. The CF-31 went into boot manager, failed, then suddenly loaded mint so fast I had no warning. No normal linux boot up scroll. The touchscreen worked but the pad didn't. I didn't mess with it any further yet.

    So for now I will setup a "barely there" usb drive with Mint. I think I have one that will fit under the rear cover. Any Linux recommendations for this other than Mint?

    What is under the hood on this? Figuratively and literally? Curious at to what it was supposed to be 'speced out with. I popped the memory cover off and saw a Sierra WWAN and two 4gb sticks. There is a lot of unfamiliar in there lol. I put the cover back on for now, it doesn't really give me enough access to explore how I want to.

    What I am really curious about is, what other ports are there inside this thing??? I would assume the wireless card is a combo wifi/bt card and that this is the only other card port? I see an express and pc card slot on the side, but those are rarely useful. Unless I can put bootable storage into them...

    Interesting laptop, and HOLY CRAP the screen is BRIGHT! Size is, odd. Square. Very. Lol.

    And what the heck is up with the HDD bay? Did some of these come with dual drives? I mean sure, its Panasonic, but this one could fit three-four SSD drives in there. And two with padding... There is almost enough room to slide in two CF-19 caddies....
