Does anyone know what this models options are CF-29HNQ07BM ? Mainly the 07 is what i don't know. The 0 shows special config which could mean anything.
I know that it was for Chicago PD only (I think)
The reason I ask is on the side of the toughbook where the pcmcia door is there seems to be some sort of different bump out cover with an antenna inside. I looked up the part numbers I found and they are legit but it does not really mention what the antenna is used for or where it connects to. If there is another cool option i can add i am all about itlol
I know that the config site does not show the options for this model so i guess someone would just have to know. Maybe a tech (hint hint lol)
HERE is a link to the service pdf.

Well after searching a bit I seem to have found that the antenna is used for Data TAC a 800mhz wireless connection. Seems that it is not so cool after all.
I bet that the cover could be used for other purposes than the data tac antenna.
Maybe a antenna for something else ? Or maybe a place for a newly designed fingerprint reader?
Figured I would share what i found maybe someone here could use this for a new mod or something.

Wow... I have seen some specialty type Toughbooks... But never this specialized....
Model Number: CF-29HNQ07BM
Product Family: CF-29
Description: ***Chicago PD Only***Pentium M 738-1.4G LV (Centrino),13.3Transmissive touch XGA,512MB,80GB, WLAN802.11a+b+g, Win XP SP2, BacklitKBD,Dual Connector,EVDO(Verizon), security lock for HDD/HDD/MP door
The "07"... Ahhh... Nevermind... I was going to make a VERY poor joke here.... -
I know i was looking at the PDF breakdown and was like wow this thing has got everything plus more special options. Must have cost a fortune new.
I think it even showed GPS on the breakdown. The only thing it was missing was bluetooth and it would be maxed out.
The Bump out cover ( if still available ) might be a good place for a new mod.
