Am I the only one having issues with IE9 while trying to view and work with the forums here on NBR?????

It ramps up my CPU to 100% and just lags and stalls IE and screws up all my other open tabs and whatnot.

It appears to be fine on Firefox 13.0

    What gives?????

I find it is a little slower. Not sure if it's EI 9 or because they are upgrading the forum software.

You mean Internet Exploder 9. I use Firefox exclusively. But, my internet has crashed on and off all day. Home and at work, with 3 different computers. Maybe the electrons don't like me anymore.
Where is Al Gore? Didn't he invent the internet? He can fix it.

I HAVE to use IE9 if I want my fingerprint reader to work with web pages as the stupid protector suite 2009 only supports OLD Version 3.2 and older firefox...

Yep Rob, I am having the same issue and I would guess that the problem is that the page is refusing to load until advertising content is displayed. This seem to be problematic for the new site software.

Sorry about that Rob. Apparently I inadvertantly clicked on you as having bottom rung access to the internet, I went ahead and gave you admin rights from now on. You are welcome!! :)

I had trouble with the search facility the other day, I'm about to have another go.

    Tranquillo

EDIT, nope still not working? All I get is this: 'invalid_search_query'.

I'll pop back later and have another go.

YES! Still having issues! The stupid ad seems to be causing the problems.... I have to click on "continue to webpage" yada yada... and it just loads and loads and loads... freezes up IE!

Sorry Rob...I never say anything about that because I thought seen the post about that a few months. Something I have noticed if my 52 crashs and I have to log in to NBR the first thing I have to do is change the style back to this one...not sure why.
