Curious minds want to know?
I did get my F11 button to command my inverter on or off!!!!!!!

How the hell did you do this!?!?!?!?!?! I thought the Red F11 key was programmed initially for EMERGENCY in police and EMTS vehicles...

The red F11 key is used for an Emergency backup key. They use this around where i live. If the officer hits the key it will send a signal to dispatch that the officer is in need of assistance and then all hell breaks loose and ten more cars arrive in a couple minutes.
I too am wondering how he got the f11 key to make the inverter turn off.

Well this is frustrating, I dont know what you did to get your display to shut-off using the Emergency F-11 key
I have continually held the key for over ten minutes
Then I pushed on it once per second for another ten minutes
I dont know what Im doing wrong

Ill be back in a moment
Someone is pounding on the door

I do Fn/F8 whenever I want to wash my hands.
I have used F11 to come out of standby. -

JB, you are so predictable. LOL I knew that was going to get your innards in a wad. All the keys are just a command. They are assigned to a certain function. You can find the pin for that key, have it come out however you want, then you basically create a switch.
My best friend is a Seargent for Cobb County here in Atlanta and has a CF-30 as well in his car. The dispatch always knows his location, and as said before, he hits F11 then it's a distress signal. His sirens, lights are also controlled from his computer. -

So what exactly do you want to know about the F8 key? only thing I only use it for is to select start up options on booting windows ie: safe mode

Yes I know I'm predictable... sorry

Thanks!!! -

fn/f8 is the cocktail button, but fn/red f11 is the smoke break button due to it's emergency orientation.

Thats awesome, I need to get my lights hooked to my CF-29 in my command vehicle!

What's up with the F8 key?
