When they were made

Does anyone know when the different models were made by Panasonic?
Starting with the;

CF-27 years made?
CF-28 years made?
CF-29 years Made?
CF-30 Still being made? When they started making these?

I'm not sure if anyone has the exact years... But I'll give it a stab....

27 - 1995 - 1998
28 - 1998 - 2002
29 - 2002 - 2007
30 - 2007 - Present

I would say that the times are close based upon the operating systems that were either installed or were available for installation at the time.

 

Someone posted this here recently:
"Not sure if anyone has told you how to determine the manufacture date from the serial number. So if you serial number stared with a 7LXXXXXXXX, the year made would be 2007 and the month would be December because L is the 12th letter of the alphabet."

Move the 27 and 28 forward a few years. I'm pretty sure that the very end of the CF25 production was in late 98. We bought up the remaining inventory in mid 99.. by then the CF27 MkI was the current model, so I think its safe to say they started making the CF27 in 98. I know for sure the 28s weren't around till 2000. I have no idea about the 29 or 30!
