Most of the time eBay is just fine but lately Ive had a few problems. Last one I got the guy pulled the feet off the bottom before he sent it to me. I complained to the seller and eBay but doesnt look like Im getting my feet anytime soon. Some place else I can look?

We have a toughbook buy sell and trade forum just look about the start of the thread list. If you don't see anything you want post an ad letting everyone know what you're looking for and you're bound to get it eventually. Happy hunting.

What ARE you looking for? Besides the sellers on this forum, there is also Craiglist, but again, buyer beware.

People on craigslist like to murder people too. so it's a bit more than buyer beware

There are so many great deals on Ebay right now that I couldn't see buying anywhere else. We recently purchased 5 fully loaded 28's for less than the price of what they are asking for one at many online retailers.

Everything besides ebay is pretty pricy, craigslist can be cheaper at times but you just gotta watch out for scams, I do a lot off craigslist and have never had anyone try to kill or rob me lol. Anyways I think ebay is still worth the risk vs. price comparison. Just my .02

Ron,
I have a TON (Probably literally) of CF-28 parts and incomplete units. Probably enough to make up two or three laptops but I'm not sure as I haven't fooled with the CF-28s in a while... But they sure take up A LOT of space in my shop. I've got LCDs, main bodies, spare parts, etc.
Lemme know what you need via PM or post here... -
Hey Ron this one is a friend of mine selling, the 28 is complete and in decent shape, he can be trusted

I suggest look on your area like police auction or state auction or on a flea market. Sometimes it is available to an unexpected places.
