No I haven't won the lottery or anything, but I never hesitate to suggest Toughbooks to people on the industrial controls forums and I've got someone looking for one right now. Where's the best place to get a new one?

Sorry to be vague but I chatted with a guy the other day that got a great deal from a place in Texas. He bought a CF-30 touchscreen with all the bells and whistles and in great shape for just under $2500. I didn;t get the name though.
They certainly are posting some good prices for them on ebay recently.... Though all the rest are going up! -
Buytough.com has new ones.

I think the guy that sold me the keyboards in Washington state realises I only get 10MPG though... -

Well, I actually bought mine (CF-30) off Ebay fully loaded with every option except the fingerprint/smartcard reader for a really cheap $2699.00.....I took a chance, but the guy had 3 of the exact units, amd my boss bought 2 of the three, taking a big chance.... 5400 spent in a few mouse clicks.... But, I do say, i love this machine.... There are good and bad on ebay, it is just a chance... I know that CDW is way too high in price...
