I'm assuming you have windows 7. Apparently windows 7 doesn't come with any Bluetooth drivers out of the box (criminal if you ask me).

Try installing one or both of these 2 programs:
Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 x64 and Bluetooth Broadcom.
That should give you a driver library/database so Windows can find an appropriate driver.

    Hope that helps

Ok, I'd still try and get hold of Bluetooth Broadcom and see if that changes things

    I am already using WinXP_SP3 installation cd-rom.

Also, I finally found working drivers. I installed Toshiba bluetooth stack V8 and it seems better than the more generic microsoft stack.

If I was you I would look into buying the Restore/Recovery Disk for this CF-19MK1. In about 30-40 minutes all drivers and XP is installed...no messing with drivers at all.

Where did you find V8 of the Toshiba drivers? I found an earlier version of the Toshiba driver pack that would work on a Dell laptop, but Toshiba changed the later versions to only install on their computers.

From what I can find out, CSR actually made the chips in these bluetooth cards, but they apparently don't distribute a generic driver that would work on Windows 7 vs. XP. Toshiba seems to be a major user of these chips, and thus the drivers.

I'd still be trying to get the latest Bluetooth Broadcome pack you can get your hands on.
It's hard to get hold of individual bluetooth drivers these days

Broadcom drivers won't work with the CSR/Toshiba chip based bluetooth boards. Believe me, I've tried.

I found the V8 stack here:

    Toshiba Bluetooth Portal

At least it worked for me without any problems.
