I am not to educated on the types of GPS stuff that are used in the CF-30 models. Neither of my models have GPS and I would like to get one of them at least. I ran across this and would like some opinions please.

Victor's units have received mixed reviews here. They will work but some have had quality control issues with the boards. I believe that it is not a "sled" but a daughter board which is installed inside the computer, at least that's true on the CF-18 which is the only one I've actually handled.

Well, the one in question here, the u-blox 5, is used by Microsoft in the GPS receiver included with Streets & Trips 2009.
However; it is not the latest model they offer. -

I have one of Microsofts external antenna that I don't use. Gotta look and see which one it is though.

On the Custom Toughbooks website, there are two different GPS options listed for the CF-18 version of the board.
Both have the same listed price (currently $175). -

@ Toyo You have an antenna or you have a USB GPS?
