    aCF 51 must have a ram module in for it to boot or operate at all. It has NO onboard ram.

    No, it will not :) it will need an memory to compute and display anything. or are u expecting an post error of the bios?

    You can check if the MOBO is good by removing all RAM chips and powering it on. If you get a beep code of some sort then it means that the MOBO has some sort of lower logic knowing that the RAM is missing. If you remove the chips and you get NO BEEP CODE, however then you may have a bad MOBO.
