    Either that card, or if there is a preferred pcmcia version of this card that can work in this laptop please let me know before I order it...and no, I have a special use for this card and no other recommendations.

    I think we need more information. Atheros AR5009 is the chipset. What model/brand is the card? What format? Mini PCI or Mini PCIE?
