I see a lot of you using WinFast Navigator on your PCs. Does it have any purpose other then as a testing tool?

The website shows the last version as 1.0.3.4, released on Nov 22, 2009 and compatible with WinXP, Win2000, Win Vista, Win CE. I looks like an interesting freeware utility, but has anyone here used it under Win7?

It is a good utility for testing your hardware setup, but I have not tried it under Windows 7.

It's an okay testing utility... Some use it (as do I) to show the satellite locks as it is one of the most graphic and easy to see.

Try VirtualGPS also... Pretty cool info.

WinFast Navigator is OK, but as a test tool to check on the GPS, I prefer Visual GPS (also available as freeware). It provides more details, and it's individual modules can be size adjusted to your personal preferences...

I too recommend VisualGPS. Much more information and functionality than WinFast. If you just want to find your GPS and check its port assignment down load GPSinfo from the USGlobalSat site.
