The fact is that the book 1984 was right and Big Brother is watching...
We are the last generation that will have any idea of what privacy is......
When I get around to installing Win 10 on something, I will not use ANY Microsoft browser....Been there done that..Internet Exploder=YUCK. I can't imagine Cortana, Cordoba, Cordova or whatever they call it is any better...I will install AdBlock plus, Super Anti Spyware, and Comodo Internet Security, with a side order of Firefox ESR and proceed while trying to avoid the smart pills in the pasture....

    Not just your computer.
Most people don't realize that your iPhone or Android phone, has the software built in to know where you are who you are in contact with every minute of the day or night and this information can be stored in a cloud somewhere. Only the people gathering this information know how to access it.
Google sells this information and we really don't know what Apple does with it....
We use the line "Google is your freind" but is it really??

As Snowden has revealed, the government can use simple connection information between cell towers and every cell phone to discern patterns of association among individuals. If you use a cell phone, any cell phone, they know who your friends are, your habits, when and where you travel, friends of your friends, etc. Most people post way too much personal info on Facebook and similar, so putting together the clues to know most everything about most everybody is simply a matter of developing algorithms and operating lots of high end computers . . . .
