I know the CF-U1 doesn't get a lot of love around here because, well, it's a pretty mediocre computer. But I do have one and was excited to try windows 10 because windows 7 is pretty unusable on such a small touchscreen. The good news is, I haven't run into a single problem. I just ran the installer on my windows 7 install (which used the drivers from here: http://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/itn/support/win7info6_u1_ssd16.html) and it upgraded to 10 without any problems. All the drivers work fine, and in fact the brightness hotkeys which weren't working on 7 now work great on 10. (One oddity is now both windows and the panasonic drivers show their own OSD when you change brightness or volume, anyone know how to disable one of them?) The touchscreen friendly user interface is a huge improvement and even on the anemic 1.3ghz atom processor it runs fine (even better than it did on 7). Only downside is it uses about 20gb of my 32gb hard drive, but I have a SD card as a second hard drive so it isn't too bad. I think a clean install would reduce the size.
To sum it up, if you have a CF-U1 I would consider the update mandatory, it is a huge improvement in every area. Just make sure you read up on how to disable various "anonymous feedback" systems that send data back to microsoft.
Edit: Oh there is one very weird problem, the computer no longer will go into standby/sleep. It has been removed from every dialogue box that used to have it. I suspect a fresh install of the OS and drivers might fix it.

You'll see Previous Windows installation and Temporary installation files there. Delete, they take too much space
Concerning the problem with Standby - check your drivers again. It looks like one of your devices has incorrect driver.Shawn likes this. -
When I first installed 10 the entire 32gb drive was filled, 20gb is what I'm left with after removing the old windows 7 files.
As for the driver, any idea on which one would be related to power settings?
