    Windows 7 can't connect to some network drives SOLUTION!

    So I've never been able to connect to either of my SANS over the network. It's connecting just fine to other workstations and my server 2003. I started researching and I found this from one of the websites I found. You should add this registry value if you are having problems where you are logging in with the correct credentials but it still isn't working:

    Once you have drilled down to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES\System\CurrentControlSet\Contr ol\Lsa click on LSA in the folders window (left).

    Next click Edit \ New \ DWORD (32 bit) Value \

    The new Dword is LmCompatibilityLevel and the value is 1

    This solution worked for me. :)

    This is one of the things about Win7 that I do not like! Oh, well it will all get straightened out like this over the next 10 years...
