:hi2: Hello fellow TBookians!!! I have installed Windows 8.1 on my CF 19!!!! WOW! What a pain. First, downloaded the UK version on Technet, fixed that issue cause I got tired of seeing Colour and Favourites! Downloaded the correct version. Big mistake trying to install without a LAN line connected. There are a plethora of downloads that Microsoft places on your TB!!! If it is not on the internet, it will not download the essentials you need to get your TB up and running Win 8.1. I found this out with my GOBI2K!!!! Without LAN, bunch of crap called WAN MINIPORTS..... The CSA will install, but it is all F'd up, won't stay active, and reverts from the Qualcomm GOBI to the WAN M-Ports. Anyway, got home, did a complete re-install of Win 8.1, this time on LAN, EVERYTHING loaded correctly! Only had to load the VZW from the CSA to get it up and going.... Maybe the driver too.... Long night!!!! Anyhow, got everything back to my Win 8 config and this is nice!!!! The SSD works great and super fast.... Did have a problem with older stuff like Eudora 7.1.... Fouund the fix for that by renaming Installshield in common files to Installshield_Old and Installshield.Old. Eudora loaded perfectly and I was able get to 11 years of saved e-mails in my mailboxes!!! Anyway, as far as I can see, no major problems thus far. I HAVE not gotten into the hotkeys, rotation and other stuff!!! I will post more on that later. Again, CF 19 MK IV, 8 Gig RAM, 230 SSD, 64 bit..... Happy TBooking!!!!

When you get everything sorted out to your liking do you mind posting your results on the SSD thread? (we are slowly working on the data base)
