    Is anyone able to play DVDs using Windows Media Player or do you get error messages?

    Problems with DVD's are most of the time a codec problem.
    Download the free Klite codec pack and it probably work

    Download and install VLC media player.
    It decodes and plays them all......and it's free

    Thanks Guys, after doing some reading I think that it is a codec problem, I will try them and see what happens.

    I have had VLC Media Player on my machines for a long time now
