It has been a while since I posted anything about this but most of us that are running Toughbooks are flogging a nice piece of YesterTech to make it do as much modern stuff as possible! These are super nice machines, but super expensive, so it is natural to want to save a few bux! So here is a proved method to increase your Toughbooks performance significantly at ZERO (0) cost! As you may know, Windows ships with a lot of services running that are not needed by most users. This is why I go through and cut off, or even uninstall, services that I do not need or use. I recommend Black Viper's Services Guide for this! I normally use the SAFE settings, but you can play with the TWEAKED if you like for more of a boost! This will make a very noticeable difference in your Toughbook, no matter how fast or new it is, or isn't... by reducing overhead. Give it a try! :D
