Too bad they don't test the "code" more than they do. Service pack after service pack..Update..update ....update...cause we screwed up the first time....

Sorry I just had to say it.

Reminds me where they buried a Glock, dug it up, and it fired without missing a beat..

This just in from ZDNet:

"Will Windows 8 block users from dual-booting Linux? Microsoft won't say"
By Mary Jo Foley | September 21, 2011, 12:05pm PDT

Summary: Some are concerned that Microsoft’s coming Windows 8 secure-boot technologies and policies could result in users being unable to dual-boot Linux alongside Windows 8. Microsoft officials aren’t commenting on whether the worries are unfounded or grounded.

At least the stuff mostly works, has tons of software, support options out the wazoo... Try flogging a Blackberry. That'll put hair on your palm. :D

Actually, the "Windoze" part originated back at Win3.1 and I have updated it with each new iteration from Mickeysoft.

I supplemented it with:

Modern day upgrade --> Windows XP Professional x64: Windows is now a 64 bit tweak of a 32 bit extension to a 16 bit user interface for an 8 bit operating system based on a 4 bit architecture from a 2 bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition.

The Linux/Mac/Palm/Windows part I picked up off the `net some time back and integrated it into the Windoze statement.

Feel free to pass it on. :)

I believe that's a fair assessment.
