Hallo! I have a CF30K and it had xp on it and I opted for windows 7 ultimate. Should I do this or stick with XP

As long as the CF-30 has driver for 7 I'd personally go with 7 and put it on an SSD.

...if upgrading to Windows 7 from XP you will probably want to first update your Bios from XP to Vista...
Here's a link to some other things you will need:

You should me ok to upgrade to W7. The MK1 (C/D) needed the bios update. The MK2/3 did not.Wyoming88! likes this. -

I faced some of the same problems and went to Win 10 on my spare C-30.. See my post http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/win-10-on-cf-30-mk1.828291/#post-10906927
My 16 year old hasn't destroyed the CF-30, but he somehow has lost 2 keys off the illuminated keyboard, I guess I should have put one of the membrane boards on it..

Hey swan what’s up?
Have you got 7 installed yet? If so great! You’ve got yourself a nice unit for messing with Pentium M software and VMs
