    Aloha,
Any insight on installing a DWL-AG660 Tri-Mode Dualband 802.11a/b/g (2.4/5GHz) Wireless 108Mbps CardBus Adapter on a CF 28? I cannot get it to accept the driver....I believe it is a 32 bit card...
Pulling my hair out here any advice would be awesome.
    Aloha,
    Mike

Hi Mike, I just put one in a Friend's Dell. It was a pain, we got it off eBay and it was a refurb, or so they claimed. I think we paid about $8 USD for it.

The reality was that they just shipped them out as-is and see who complained, if you did, they sent you a new one.

You did not mention the OS you are running.... so there is really not much way for folks to help you, but generally.

Make sure to remove the old driver, first go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. Onne you have done that, use CCLeaner (Free) to clean the Registry of any traces of the old driver.

Then install your new driver, they can be found here: http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=305

Then turn the computer off. While it is off, install the card. It should find it and the drivers while it is booting up. If not, please consider my earlier statement, you may have a bad card.
