    Hello,

I was wondering HOW different the 2 covers really are. I have a CF-28 with a nice custom black powder coated Cover for the LCD both front and the back, plus the bezel cover. I also had the handle done.

What I would like to know is IF I removed the cover from my CF-29 could I take my CF-28 one add add those pieces to it? This would save trying to get the new one painted.

I dont have my CF-29 yet so I cant tell a side by side. But in theory it should be possible IF the whole case was replaced front and back for the LCD.

Thanks, I hope one of you know?

I say no! coz the hinges covering of cf-29 is far more wider than cf-28.

Read: BIG EFF-ing Grinder, TIG welder, & lots of duct tape. Plus, then you get to rewire without a schematic.

they will not interchange, the models have completely different hinges and screw locations.

I wired my sister's new home for phone service with a drywall screw once... Really.

Short answer = You can't swap the screens.

Long answer = You can swap them with heavy modifications.... Just like you can hammer out the sheetmetal of a KIA into that of a Porsche... You may be able to do it... But why would you?
