Rob! Let me check on the schematic and report back. Just hold on a sec.

Edit: It should work but the ribbon cable must be in reverse position. I can't confirmed nor denied coz I don't have the cf-18 daughterboard schem. I've done it before coz the GPS module that used on cf-18 is as the same on cf-19 earlier model.

WOOOH WOH! Backup here! I have about 8 of these things laying around... you're saying I can use one of these in my CF-30??? What about the antenna??? Don't the CF-30's have the GPS antenna in the left portion of the screen?

Yup! thats the one. Only changes is they position the antena at the top of LCD monitor on CF-30 not on the palmrest at a top of battery bay area. Now! you may send one of the eight that you have.Lol

I think seven are good enough for you and it is also a lucky no.7

Btw, you must be very carefull on the installation. Make sure the ribbon cable is at the right position or you may end up blowing there fuse on mbo. That is also the beauty of the new toughbook before the GPS and Bluetooth connector they installed fuses. Just incase of misconnection the mbo. will be safe.
