This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Will I hate myself if I install XP mode on my 32 bit win 7 CF-31? What kind of nastiness lurks?

    I have had no problems using XP Mode on my CF-30 and CF-19. IMO, you should have at least 3gb ram and set XP Mode to use 1gb. I use it for some programs that will not run in Win7.
