I am having some issues with my cf28. so I am looking to restore the os (xp pro).
Where can I get a restore disc for the cf28, could I use a disc from a cf29?

I really need to get system back to normal.

    Thanks

I don't have a factory restore disk, I always have taken a generic OS installation and added the appropriate drivers. I can tell you, though, I'm 99% certain that a restore disk from a CF29 would be useless to you.

The recovery disks are made for specific models... There are some that won't work even between like models! (XP VS 2k) You need to find one that is made for your Mk model. The CF-28s are hard to come by...

They are hard to come by. I have only heard of a few people owning one.

Sorry for not replying to your PM earlier, but I've been moving into my new apartment (2400 miles away from my old place). But I do not currently have any CF-28 recovery discs.. just drivers and manuals.
