I just picked up a cf27, p3-500, win 98 that im turning into an automotive scan tool. i need to know if there are any bluetooth cards that work well with this machine, if there are any at all.

i may be installing a linux os if i can find a way for my scan software to work with it.

    thanks

No, win98 (& win98se) will NOT support bluetooth.

If you put Windows XP on it you can use bluetooth, most Linux Distributions with the latest kernals will not work with a CF-27 because they don't support pre-1999 bios. DSL and Puppy work ok, but I don't know how well they handle bluetooth.

Windows 98 may not natively support bluetooth, but there are Bluetooth adapters with Windows 98 drivers. For example, the Billionton device that has been recommended elsewhere on this forum has Windows 98SE driver support.
