Your best bet is Google.... Everything I see is written in Japanese.... So you may need to translate...

    That's a Let's Note laptop, and not a Toughbook...

This is a Panasonic forum, not a Toughbook forum although most of us have the fully-rugged line of Toughbooks.

Aren't the "business rugged" Toughbooks (C1, F8, T8, W8) essentially North American versions of other "Let's Note" laptops from Japan?

I just picked one up yesterday from London Drugs for $1799 CAD (+ taxes if staying here) which I think is a bargain! ($1815 USD)

Full product code is CF-S9KWBZEDM - I'm going to be very helpful and give all the information I couldn't find on the internet for you!

This machine has 4gb Ram as standard - checked
It has a 320gb hard drive - checked
It is pre-loaded with 32 bit windows 7 pro - BUT it has the recovery disk for windows 7 pro 64 bit included in the box - so that was my first job! No issues whatsoever.

It has the Gobi 2000 card installed, (rather than the fingerprint reader - it's an either/or i believe) which IS UNLOCKED and you are not obliged to enter a data contract (which I think is where London Drugs are trying to make a profit from - judging from the efforts Panasonic tried to sign me up, until I said I was taking the machine back for refund unless the card is unlocked ie not network specific) - windows 7 can control all your access/settings as explained at AT&T

I am delighted with the machine - it is very light - battery life is as stated (10hrs on its first charge - at the 10% warning there was still 1hr 37min left lol)

Performance is only "let down" comparatively by the graphics card - but then it's perfect for what I need. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.

    cheers!
