    hi
i am not really new in this forum but what i recognized is strange
i have some buisness rugged panasonic notebooks
and really everyone is getting really hot and the fan is working for my ears loud is this normal for buisness rugged laps?
    or is something wrong?
    the models
    cf 73
    cf w8
    cf t8
cf f9 this is the quietiest but in my ears to my thinkspads t61 and t400 loud and hotter
    so my question is
are panasonic fans loud? and the notebooks hot?

    Not yet.

I did not know this, but Panasonic makes 56" industrial fans.

The fan on my CF52 gets a bit loud if I am converting videos or some cpu intense task.
Normally it is quiet and I do not hear it.
If yours are constantly loud, you could have an issue such as dried thermal pads or the fan itself is old/dirty. Perhaps the heat sinks need the dust blown out of them.

The F9 runs very hot as it has an i5 and not so great cooling, 70c is common. And the fun part, you can not blow the fan out as the dirt has no place to go like a regular laptop, no air inlet to speak of. Had one running 97c once and it still ran, fan was plugged.

The T8 and W8 are built along the same lines as the F8,F9 so same problem. Lots of fun (not!) to take apart.

Not sure about the other ones you listed but my CF-W8 has a program that you can set the fan speed. The W8 is louder than my 53 even at the low setting.
