    hello,
    i have a problem with my CF74,
    old battery is dead,
I bought a new original battery, and i install this in my toughbook,

but the battery is charging 1%, but no more,
after a few minutes, the battery indicator light flashes and the battery icon I get "plugged in but not charging"

I tried with computer on, and computer off
the charger is original and in good condition,

it is a special operation to install a new battery

    thks

Where did you buy the "new original" battery. It could be as much as 10 years old, well past the life expectancy of even an OEM Panasonic battery.
