hi there guys. i`ve bought another CF-29. mainly for the CD-Rom. but when i look at the pictures of this baby it looks spanking new..

wondering to change over the screen and some panels since this looked so nice. cant see any signs of wear..

so my question. i have a CF-29 mk5. the new one i bought is a 1.3Ghz model. dont know so much else.

are the screens the same(nit, resolution), cooling solutions for the cpu etc..

just played with the tought since this one looked nice..

    any thoughts, ideas?..

You can use covers and such. But if you're thinking a motherboard swap, its a no go, mate. Sceen should be fine.

Mk1 mk2 and mk3 are compatible. Same for mk4 and mk5. But between mk 3 and 4 the internal layout was changed.

First things first: check to see if the "wear" is limited to the protective plastic overlay on the screen.

If it is: Screen Protector Panasonic Toughbook CF-73 CF-28 CF-29
