Hi, does anyone know if a cf 19 mk5 us the same digitizer panel and connector as a mk3.
I've seen a mk5 touch and need to know whether i can convert it to a dual touch before I buy it as I have a spare complete mk3 dual touch screen assembly.
I could leave it as a touch but I really like the digitizer option.

Yes I have the complete screen assembly with the dual touch harness in.
I had the harness from a mk3 I bought for the motherboard that had no screen in it then I struck lucky on ebay and got the screen with the digitizer still on it very cheap

Got my mk5 and had it apart to put the digitizer panel in.
The mk3 dual touch harness fit along with the digitizer panel, just a bit fiddly getting the cables right around the swivel catch.
Most annoyed that I have somehow got a slight shadow right in the lower right corner of the screen.
I can live with it unless I change the lcd for my spare but it's a mk3 .
What a machine now I have my digitizer, used it for a day as a touchscreen but find the digitizer must faster and more accurate.
